Changing Course is a climate change campaign by Eco-Business, launched at the start of the ClimateForce: Antarctica 2018 expedition led by Robert Swan, a renowned British environmentalist and explorer who was the first man to walk to both North and South Poles.
The 14-day expedition to Antarctica in early March aims to raise awareness about the global climate crisis and the urgent need to shift to more sustainable ways of living.
The Changing Course exhibition, hosted at the Green Pavillion at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, will feature photographs taken by Eco-Business managing editor Jessica Cheam, videojournalist Fraser Morton and others from the Eco-Business community that will document the beauty of this inhospitable continent, its fragility, its rich ecosystems, and to tell the stories of those defending it.
We are officially launching the exhibition on 4th June, with Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources as guest-of-honour. At this event, the Eco-Business documentary 'From Asia to Antarctica' will be screened, followed by a dialogue on the role of media to inspire positive change. Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks and inspiring conversations.
The exhibit will also showcase winning entries to the Changing Course Climate Photo Challenge, a global photography contest launched with the aim of finding powerful and inspiring images of climate action. It will also showcase the winners of #changingcourse Instagram photo contest which is a contest for youth aged 25 and below.
The exhibit is open from 4th June and will be free for public viewing until July 12th.
